amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A related issue is a <strong>conditional hammer price (Zuschlag unter Vorbehalt)<\/strong>, where the effectiveness of the sale may depend on subsequent approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We advise consignors and auction houses on disputes concerning reserve prices, conditional sales and the contractual obligations the sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online Art Auctions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Art auctions increasingly take place online or combine a traditional saleroom auction with internet and telephone bidding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Online participation may raise additional questions concerning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the time at which a binding bid is made,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technical bidding errors,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the identity of the bidder,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>consumer protection statutory consumer withdrawal rights apply depends on the precise structure of the auction and the circumstances of the transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International bidders should therefore not assume that an online art purchase can automatically be cancelled simply because the bid was placed over the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Art enforced,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>whether cultural property restrictions apply, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how an artwork or other evidence can be secured during a dispute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p
